Technical Developments OfficerMy name is Kathy Slinn, I have worked as an Advocate for six years. I have also worked as an Independent Mental Capacity Advocate. As well as my advocacy work I have a development role which involves looking into new ideas and applying for new funding.

Caroline Campbell
Operations ManagerMy name is Caroline Campbell but I am known as Cal. I am a Line Manager and Advocate. I have been employed by the Association for 9 years and have worked in the fields of learning disability, physical disability, mental health and IMCA.

Julie Thomas
Technical Developments OfficerHi my name is Julie Thomas but I prefer to be called Jools, I have worked as an Advocacy Officer for eight years for the Association. I work predominately in the field of Mental Health and Forensic, but I have and do work with individuals with a learning disability and a physical disability. I am also qualified in Independent Mental Capacity Advocate. I have recently been developing new advocacy projects including a pilot project for specific Mental Health issues.

Ellie Griffiths
Hi, I’m Ellie. I have been working for the Advocacy Service for a year and a half. During my time with the association I have worked with Adult Service Users and Carers, individuals with Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities, and currently work in Delfryn House which is a psychiatric rehabilitation unit. I have also worked as an Independent Mental Capacity Advocate.

Angie Morris
My name is Angie Morris. Before becoming an Advocate I worked with children and young people who had learning and physical disabilities. I have been an advocate for four years now and work in the field of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and adult service users and their carers'.

Kevin Sullens
Deputy ManagerMy name is Kevin. I have worked with individuals with a learning disability and within the autistic spectrum for a number of years, before joining the Association as an advocate in 2003. Since becoming an advocate I have worked with people that have learning disabilities, have mental health problems and those that have physical disabilities. Over the more recent years I have worked as an Independent Mental Capacity Advocate and my current role is as an advocate and Deputy Manager.

Simon Higgins
ManagerSimon has worked in the field of ‘disability’ for over 20 years. As one of the founders of Menter Fachwen he developed a number of social enterprises and projects that gave people with disabilities the chance to show what they can achieve given the right opportunities. Since 2009 he has worked as a consultant to a number of organisations in Wales and as a volunteer technical advisor to two national NGO’s in Cambodia.
